The thought of health and disease in many immediately invoke a picture of damaging and crippling illness, which result in major sufferings and unavoidable and eventual death. It is so awesome that some will exclaim, "Oh God! So far you saved me! Pray it will be so in future too". The image of our acquaintances and friends who happened to go through the hell of suffering and the stupendous efforts of medicine to help them in vain is so alarming, that the sense of vulnerability becomes so real. That is why, the very thought of disease itself is sufficient to create a fearful and benumbing sensation. Why is it that only a few are the objects of divine wrath and others are blessed with health and happiness? It is difficult to go beyond this before you get a proper understanding of health.
